MEBS Global Reach has built on over 20 years of experience as a trusted third-party logistics (3PL) provider to offer advanced fourth-party logistics (4PL) solutions. A cornerstone of MEBS success as a 4PL provider lies in its integration of cutting-edge digital logistics platforms and powerful data analytics tools. These systems enable real-time visibility, data-driven decision-making, and continuous performance monitoring across the entire supply chain. By combining this technology-driven approach with its proven expertise serving government, non-governmental, and commercial clients worldwide, MEBS delivers world-class 4PL services that are strategic, efficient, and fully optimized for complex logistics operations.
A Vital 4PL Partner
Through our 4PL work, MEBS Global Reach has emerged as a vital 4PL partner for the Malaria Component of the Global Fund Grant in Nigeria. Within just 12 weeks of contract signing, MEBS executed a seamless transition and launched nationwide last mile distribution across 13 states, overseeing central and regional warehousing under a public-private framework. MEBS responsibilities span the distribution of pharmaceuticals, cold chain commodities, anti-malaria bed nets, and nationwide collection and disposal of unusable medical stock.
The Nigeria Health Logistics Management Information System (NHLMIS) enables stakeholder at all levels to analyze critical data trends and helps to support inventory management decision-making processes. It is Nigeria’s centralized platform for monitoring health commodity stock levels and movement which MEBS uses to align distribution with actual needs and minimize stockouts. The Commodities Order Management System (COMS) enables efficient planning, tracking, and fulfillment of health commodity orders across all levels of the supply chain. The electronic Proof of Delivery (ePOD) system provides real-time confirmation of deliveries, ensuring traceability and accountability throughout the last mile. MEBS use of these systems, combined with a dynamic pricing model and strategic stakeholder engagement, positions it as a key enabler of Nigeria’s malaria response.
By leveraging these advanced systems, along with a dynamic pricing model and strong stakeholder collaboration, MEBS plays a strategic role in Nigeria’s malaria response. Its ability to monitor, measure, and verify key performance indicators (KPIs) through robust data analytics and system triangulation is a critical factor in its consistent high performance as a 4PL provider.
